Our Beliefs
|

|
- We believe in the Bible and in the testaments: Old and New, that they are the word of
God - only inspired, inerrant, infallible and have all authority.
- We believe that there is only one true and living God. This one God eternally exists in
three people: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in his sinless life; in His
miracles; in His atoning death and substitution through His blood poured out; in His
bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His return in
power and glory.
- We believe that for a lost and sinful humanity to be saved, regeneration through the
Holy Spirit is essencial, and that the repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord
and Savior is the only way to have a relationship with God.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling in the Christian
capacitates him to live a holy life. We also believe that His power and gifts are available
to believers today.
- We believe that the church exists to worship God, edify itself in love, and proclaim the
gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
- We believe that it is important to maintain biblical practices of the primitive church.
Because of this we practice water baptism and the regular taking of communion. We
don't believe that any of these practices are necessary for salvation, but serve as a
demonstration of our faith in Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the authority and sufficiency of the scriptures, and in the Holy Spirit who
provides us with all of the necessary things concerning life and Holiness.
- We believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church and in the pre-millenial return of
Jesus Christ to earth
- We believe in the resurrection of the saved and of the lost. Those who are saved to a
resurrection of life and those who are lost to a resurrection of condemnation to hell.
